The origins of BOOST Site
BOOST Site Portal is run and updated by FOBIA Project. Main objective of The FOBIA Project is to enhance business competitiveness of forestry service enterprises in the northern and peripheral regions of Finland, Sweden, Scotland and Ireland. The origin of the project lies in the need to improve the enterprises’ ability to meet increased service demands and challenges of developing operational environment.
FOBIA will introduce successful business models and develop and familiarise tools to increase productivity and monitor profitability. Besides this, well-being of entrepreneurs and employees will be taken into account. These outputs are packed into training packages that wood harvesting entrepreneurs and other providers of forestry services can utilise regardless of time and place.
In the BOOST Site Portal we will be presenting the main results of FOBIA Project. We will also offer the entrepreneurs latest information of forest service businesses, as well as a unique training package for management and leadership of forest service companies.
